Hi folks! I’m looking for some advice on my monstera, Dorothy. I’ve had her for about a year now, and for the first few months I had her I was rotating her every few days before I learned that monsteras have a front and a back side. Since then I’ve had her backside facing the window and her leaves look like they want to turn to the front, but none of them have yet! They’ve just been stuck like this for a few months, I’m wondering if there’s any advice on what I can do to help her turn her leaves to the front side, I was thinking a different support pole might be good! Looking for any and all advice as she is my first monstera, thanks in advance! :)

In my humble opinion I definitely think she might need better support. Her back should be well supported against some kind of thin board or pole. The velcro plant ties work wonders for that! I also can’t really tell from the picture, but is her back facing the window? If so then it should be swapped with the front facing the window.

Thanks for your reply! I’ll get a better support for her and turn her around so her front is facing the window 😊 🌱

I’ve had my leaves turn, but I was absolutely blasting them with light from the front. I have also essentially hogtied my girl do make her manageable after years of rotating.
