Hi all, I’m in search of help regarding my trailing jade. I’ve had it for about a month now and have noticed a few sections of it have fallen off appearing to be dead but at the top there looks to be lots of new growth. I live in a basement apartment so it doesn’t get a ton of sunlight but it is kept quite close to the window as shown in the photo Any tips + tricks + suggestions would be very welcomed!

you could hang it from the ceiling in front of it — or you can stack some books and set it on top. that’s how i have mine for now. A little height to enjoy the trailing effect

I have a trailing jade plant (senecio jacobii) and she likes the south window. From my experience with my peperomias so far, though, I’ve found they do well being bottom watered, and drying out between waterings. I definitely agree that yours might need more light, but if you can’t put it in a windowsill, you might wanna get a hanging planter for it to get it as close as possible to a brighter window (it definitely looks the right size for it). If you don’t think it’s a light problem, you might wanna consider the soil. I stick with Espoma’s Organic Cactus and All-Purpose mixes for all my plants, but use an all-purpose mix with added perlite to my peperomia, and I’ve heard they do well with orchid bark added in as well. Hope this helps!
