Bought this plant in perfect condition. Waited a few weeks & repotted into stratum & perlite mix. Next day this spot appeared. Does anyone know what this indicates? It's the only spot on any of the leaves.

Following… just had this show up on mine as well, just purchased it yesterday and I didn’t even transplant yet.

Wow, exact same thing! I understand Alocacia's are very temperamental. Yours could be just stress from being transported, mine from re-potting. What's your sun/light situation?

It could be from lack of drainage from the original soil. And it just happened to show up right after you repotted. 🫤

No, the spot won't heal. Hopefully it won't get any bigger. 😬

This looks just like the yellow spot disease my Monstera has and was diagnosed on Reddit. If it spreads (take a pic and then compare it in 3 days), treat with the copper liquid fungicide stuff
