My vain attempt to rid my peace lily of fungus gnats 🤞🏻 used some play sand from my sons sandpit lol. Next step is nematodes if this doesn’t work. It lives my bathroom so won’t ever dry out and I’m not moving it to another room. Another tips welcome x

I found a way to kill adult fungus gnats with stuff you might have at home get a shallow bowl mix 3 cap fulls of apple cider vinegar, dawn dish soap a little white sugar and water mix altogether and sit it next to the plants within a week you have caught most of the adults I use it by my sink in the kitchen and all over my plant room it help so much a way to control them until your able to kill them completely

I’ve done this before with gnats and didn’t find it as successful as I did with fruit flies … I’ll have to see if I’ve got some apple cider left over and give it another go 🤞🏻

The systemic granuals and mosquito bits are pesticides so it’s something. To think about if you prefer pesticide free plants.

Mosquito Bits are not a pesticide. It’s an insecticide. It’s also a natural bacteria that is safe around pets and humans.
