Bad Luck

Does anyone know what these little things are? They’ve been popping up on my calladium and white fusion and every leaf that they appear on starts dying. I left them alone for a little so I can get this picture but I usually break the webbing whenever I notice it.

Most likely spider mites. You can try spraying it down with water and a bit of dish soap. Also trim the affected leaves. Ask the group for more tips.

Give them a shower in your shower. Use the gentle spray. Let them dry, then spray with mite spray. Treat several more times about every 5 days. And isolate them.

Spider mites will destroy your white fusion if you don’t get the infestation under control. I’ve had my white fusions for about 5 years and every year when it gets dry the spider mites return. No chemical, physical removal successfully works for me. I now buy beneficial insects online to kill the spider mites. Predatory mites eat the spider mites. They are amazing.
