Help! My parlor palm just doesn’t look right. What am I doing wrong? Pot is 4 inches Indoor potting mix soil Water once a week (when soil is dry about 1 inch deep) and mist occasionally throughout the week when it’s hot Indirect / direct light throughout the day

    Repot your plant to a pot about two inches larger in width and height

    Parlor palms don't like direct sunlight. It can scorch the leaves. Try relocating it so that it only receives indirect light.

    It looks like it needs better draining pot. They like soil similar to cactus soil and only require watering 1x per month 2x per month summer. They don’t like more water than that

    And don’t mist. Most plants don’t need misting. Increases risk of rot

    Thank you all! I have moved to a slightly larger pot with better drainage and put in a location that doesn’t have direct light.
