I am not sure what to do. I noticed a few leaves randomly in the middle of this pathos vine are turning yellow yellow. They weren’t in direct light. It seems to be working very slowly up the vine & I don’t want to lose the whole vine it is very long at this point.

So many different things can be wrong, including over/under watering, lighting and nutritional deficiencies. Don’t pull off the leaves unless it’s easy to: like, tug gently and if they might come off easy. How is the drainage in the pot and when was the last time you changed the soil? I have a few Pothos, including a neon that I left outside in direct light and completely murdered the established leaves. Thought it was a good idea, but was not lol. I brought it back inside where there was bright but indirect light (bathroom with a ceiling window) and it’s growing back. This plant also has fungus gnats, so I repotted and put traps in the soil (from Amazon, or you can use one part hydrogen peroxide to four parts water, or dish soap-if this is a potential issue). I have other Pothos that seemed to have struggled (left by old owners of the house we bought two years ago) but with consistency of placement and watering once a week to every two weeks, they’re now growing like crazy. Problems seem cyclical, so be patient and time will heal them! Plus a good fertilizer will help 🙂. I really like Fox Farm Organic and the plants seem to, also! Good luck!!

Check the roots: - Is it root bound? - Is the soil staying too wet too long? Then, it’s overwatered. Has it changed location or recently repotted? These can cause stress. Has the lighting decreased? That can cause yellowing. Are you consistently giving it fertilizer?

It is not staying wet too long. I only water about once a week & it is dry when I do. I have not repotted or changed location recently. I don’t give consistent fertilizer.

I am nervous it could spread. I will keep an eye on it, it could be getting too big for its pot??
