Tarrier

Except for a little bit of leaf burn (more on that later), my Hazelnu (corylus avellana) is mostly healthy including new buds growing at the stems of old leaves. What’s slightly concerning me is all the new stem growth - does that indicate it’s not happy with it’s main stem, or should I remove the new sapling stems to make it focus on the more mature stem? The leaf burn is a little disconcerting, too - I measure pH and EC of the runoff, and it’s generally around 6.5 pH, and 900 EC (about 450ppm) - so within range. I fertilise with a Nitrogen dominant fertiliser, maybe should swap for a balanced one? Any advice greatly appreciated
