My poor plant has lost all its leaves and the last one is discolored…. I’ve been watering it as per the schedule on planta and it’s in its correct light conditions. This plant did come to me originally with flies, and thought I’d managed to get rid of them. Could they be the problem?? Thanks in advance for any help!
If you haven't checked the roots/change the soil yet, I would suggest that. There could be some damage. Also, when the app tells you to water, double check the soil with your finger/ wooden chopstick. It might be getting too much water. Is there a drainage hole on the plant's pot?
1 me gusta Thanks so much! Yes there’s a drainage hole and I normally check that the top 2 inches of soil is dry. I’ll definitely check the roots this weekend then - thank you for your advice!
1 me gusta Hi Amber! A month late but I finally got around to checking the roots/changing the soil. The roots looked fine to me, right? None are brown or soggy. I’ve given it a bigger pot and new soil, hopefully it’ll recover 😖🤞🏼
Yeah the roots seem fine. Nothing mushy. It might just need some time
