Plants is telling me to water my hurricane asplenium antiquum every 8 days and to keep the soil moist but I am worried about root rot. The internet says when the top layer of soil is dry but also keep the soil moist. Any thoughts on when to water ?

I bottom water my begonias about once a week, they also live in my cabinet with decently high humidity. I would say if your pot has drainage I would stick between 7-9 days for watering. I wait until the top layer is “dry” (hard to tell in the humidity). If you bottom water they can decide how much they want too!
