It’s happened twice now in two completely different plants!!! Is it the humidity? I’ve been doing research but I’m not having luck figuring out what’s wrong!

If they’re mushy/moldy it’s probably too much moisture. Either watering too often, too much humidity/not enough air circulation, or a soil that’s not well draining. It’s hard to tell from your pic, but is this leaf is starting to look a bit yellow to you? If so then it’s definitely being overwatered or staying wet for too long.

It doesn’t seem like this leaf is yellowing! From the bottom it looks pink?? I thought that’s just how the leaves are supposed to look! Should I keep the humidifier away from her still? Thanks in advance!!!!

Also this is the one I was talking about! She’s got a new stem growing under the one I cut?!?! Should I cut that away as well? Or see how it turns out?

You’re right looks healthy! Only other thing I can think of is if the humidifier is too close it’s getting water into the new leaf furls and causing it to rot there? I’ve heard it can happen from misting. I personally don’t mist any plants. Only clean them when needed. Or it could also just be a fluke and future growth will be fine.(:

I’ll be keeping the humidifier away for now to see how she does! I’ll also keep the stem just to see how it goes! Thanks so much!!!!!!
