Hello! I have been caring for plants for some while now, but this is my first ALOCASIA plant, I got it not too long ago and this one leaf has started to yellow. Can anyone point me in the right direction? What is this most likely due to? Thank you!

Alocasia’s are drama queens! It’s likely acclimating to your environment. It’s not unusual for them to lose leaves - maybe all but one. I couldn’t keep them alive in soil. All mine are in pon and self-watering pots. I made that transition last fall and I’ve got 6 alocasia that THRIVE.

I’m no expert, but have you checked for pests? 🥴

This looks like overwatering. Possibly going into fungal. Id cut it off, so nothing Possibly spreads. It could have started prior to you getting it, could be a combo of Alocasia new home drama
