I have a madinia elegant red velvet climbing plant that I accidentally left outside over winter and it froze for a few days. I looked at it today and it’s roots look alive but the part about soil look dead. What should I do?

I think it is probably done but stranger things have happened.
1 j'aimeProbably! Maybe I’ll wait until a few weeks have passed, and if there isn’t any growth, I guess it goes in the compost 😢
0 J'aimeIf the roots look good there's potential. You may clip back the stalks a bit, to see if it's stimulates to start new growth over the next month as it warms up.
2 J'aimeCut it back and let it hang out for a bit to see! It may come back!
