   I used tapwater once and that’s what mine did so I’m trying to get it regulated back on my rainwater. Good luck.

   These are tricky plants. They can be more particular about tap water where they’ll get crispy tips, so rain or distilled water can help. They also like humidity more than other plants so humidifiers help but usually aren’t totally necessary if you don’t feel like buying one. I water mine when it’s 25% dry and give it medium indirect light (around 200 foot candles in my case). In an east facing window is ideal if you have one. You could also put it a few feet back from a south or west facing window if it also has a sheer curtain or something to prevent direct sun rays from hitting the leaves. I’ve also read that they can prefer diluted fertilizer with every watering, so I recently started to dilute my liquid fertilizer by half and use that with every watering - you just need to flush the soil out with plain water 1x every 1-2 months if you do it that way.

   i’m seeing comments about the type of water you use. from my experience that doesn’t matter for this plant. they just like lots of water, humidity and light. the soil does look quite airy so maybe less perlite more soil. once it’s warm out if you keep it in an area that gets evening sun (somewhat shaded) it should grow like crazy!
