Ok. Who’s got a Philo Tortem that’s doing well? I need to discuss.

I don’t have that specific one but what are your problems?
0 likesmy problem is that idk what HER problem is 🥴 we recently moved, that’s the only thing i can come up with but the reaction has been so dramatic. east facing window, same light she was getting at our last place. leaves are yellowing. i just snipped 2 of 5 last weekend — and it’s ready to lose another, and Im betting a fourth after that. the only thing i can think to try is putting it back into a nursery pot — it might be drying out faster than it would prefer??
1 likeUgh that sucks. Hmmm is the new house a different humidity than the last? They are climbing plants so maybe she wants to climb and is throwing a fit because of that. Also could be lack of nutrients if you’ve changed the fertilizer routine, philos in general are big feeders. Yeah could be that it’s drying out too fast too, lots of different factors lol. Trying to help narrow them down for you. My guess is nutrients or too dry
1 likeIt’s definitely drier in south Jersey with this crazy drought, hadn’t thought of that…so the humidity is lower (which has NEVER been the case in all my years in NJ lmao) which will be contributing to the drier soil. I think nursery pot has to be the next step
1 likeHahaha, yep must be the humidity and the too dry soil lol, hopefully it helps the poor girl
