Help!!! My pups off my pink quill tillandsia started doing THIS? I thought the most shriveled one was a random death due to being under watered, but apparently not because the other to below started doing the same, even on a fixed watering schedule. If there are any possibilities with anything, I would like to know because I really want to improve!

    How much light are they getting? What is your watering schedule?

      Some light by my plant grow lights, but I water them 3 times a week

    Also do you mean pink quill bromeliad?

      My bad, apparently they were formerly placed in Tillandisa, but now are placed in Wallisia

    That’s alright! Usually with bromeliads I’d recommend propagating them in some kind of medium. I think they might be drying out too fast. I like to mount mine using sphagnum moss on wood, it looks cool.

    You can always just put them in some well draining soil though

    Do you mist them daily? Do you use distilled or filtered water? Do you soak them in a bowl of water. Periodically, maybe every 7 to 14 days? Air plants will not do well planted in soil even though they are bromeliads. I suppose there could be exceptions but in general air plants do not thrive in soil.
