hi everyone 👋🏻 my money tree is acting up and I’m not sure what’s going on. It’s been thriving since I pruned it in April and now the leaves are doing this… I haven’t changed anything at all (location, water, soil, humidity, etc.) I’d greatly appreciate any help!💚

Can you show us the base of the trunk more? She might be overwatered :( I had an issue with mine where the soil was holding too much moisture and straight up lost 2 branches from the braid. Their trunks take water damage really hard. They show really obvious signs of rot when they do have it

The good news is she doesn't have rot! I don't like the look of that soil though. I am no expert but the residue on the pot and the bass of the trunks reminds me of the residue on mine when she was struggling. They do not root deep! They are actually shockingly shallow rooters and they are kinda bad at drinking 😭 I am no botanist, just someone with plants. But I think your best bet might be repotting into a more drained soil. Leave her in the dry soil for a day or two, esp if watered recently. If she shocks she should bounce back after that first water. Just don't rush it. She can't take up water the same after the repot and needs a bit to gather herself before watering. Otherwise the water sits on her longer and recreates the problem. Your pot size looks good though!
