The term “bright indirect light” is confusing me. Obviously, if I moved these plants to the windowsill, they would receive direct light all morning (then the sun moves over the house). I do sometimes pop them on the windowsill for a burst of light. But are they receiving bright, indirect light on my desk right now? Or are the shutters shutting out too much light?

Push them by the window a bit and just adjust your blind as needed. Morning sun is ok it’s the afternoon sun you have to be careful for.
