I have had my Chinese Evergreen for almost a year now and originally it had 6-7 leaves, now it only has 4 about to have 3 leaves. Any advice on what I’m doing wrong, any help at this point would be very much appreciated. Just so you guys know, this plant is in an Easyplant pot, and for those of you that don’t know what that is, it’s a pot that waters the plant whenever it needs it.

The soil looks very wet, does it look like that often with that pot? The leaves look like the brown spots are softer, not crispy, so i'm thinking overwatering. Good Luck 🪴✨

Well, the reservoir system below the plant inside the pot waters the plants from the roots up instead of from above the surface, so it could be that. I hope 🤞

Possibly, if you feel like the plant won't go into shock from this, repot it to see if the roots are mushy at all.

It is in a easyplant pot so would I just have to try and see if I can pull it out?

I'm not entirely sure how those pots work, I have never used one, but i assume so 🤷‍♀️
