It’s kind of difficult to make recommendations with so little info. But just thru observation, the soil on both looks very wrong. The polka dot plant enjoys moist soil but that looks wet. The string enjoys the soil drying out between waterings. Both soils appear to be way too organic. The polka dot needs some grit to promote drainage and the string needs a lot more. The string needs a lot more light than the polka dot. And I don’t understand how your polka dot is so tall. They are normally kept trimmed to promote bushiness, otherwise they become very leggy. When you need help, try to give a few more details. How often you water, how much light, etc. The polka dot plant is gone, still some green on the string, so maybe you can prop.

I watered them when I saw this (checked soil and it was dry) and gave em a bit of fertilizer. They are about 9 feet away from the nearest window, which gets not toooo much direct sunlight. Hypoestes has been a bit leggy since I revived it after *kinda* killing it. I just bought the SOP and was told that I shouldn’t put it in the window? I might do that soon as I pot my Croton Mammi since the Croton has the only saucer in my room. This is VERY sudden- Hypoestes was looking at a very healthy revival, and SOP was thriving. Happened I think while I was at school and I have NO idea what caused it

9 feet is too far from the window without a grow light to help. Your SOP looks more like a String of Tears...my SOP is in a south facing window and has thrived there more than when it was in part shade, so I'm sure yours would appreciate some extra exposure. I can't advise on the other unfortunately.

Stuff can happen without an immediately obvious reason. But you have two plants with very different needs. Google them online for more info. My string of pearls is still filling in the pot before it cascades over the sides. It is in Jacks Gritty mix for succulents. I’ve only had a few months. Also a stowaway in there of string of turtles. The polka dot plant is two varieties planted together. I keep it trimmed back. It’s in Miracle Grow potting mix with a good handful of perlite. I water when top half is dry. I completely let the string go dry and notice signs of dehydration.
