So- question- what in the world is this?!!? I found 2 in the soil, the part with the lines wiggles around when I hold it. I will try to load the video but I don’t think I can on this app.

    Moth pupa. They lay them in the ground.

      Yeah I found one and left it out and something came along and ate the insides, so I always re-bury them now. 😅
