my leopard plant dropped nearly all its leaves! Less than a month ago it had 15+ leaves now it has like four. I noticed this white mildew? Not sure if it’s an infection or the cause of this issue it was only really on one leaf. Please anything helps.

Mealy bugs ya I hope not. I didn’t see any just the white stuff. I did however see a circle of little brown dots could be some sort of pest eating

The white looks like powdery mildew or fungus. These types won’t kill your plant. They both thrive on excess moisture in the soil too long. The pot might be too big which means the plant can’t dry out all the water in the soil. Check the roots for rot.

The roots are sort of wet but they don’t smell like root rot. Update I did sss a couple gnats flying around. Would that be a cause?

The soil is likely taking too long to dry out. Fungus gnats lay eggs on wet top soil. Their larvae live in moist soil until ready to emerge. You may be overwatering, have slow drainage from dense soil or have too much soil for the size of the plant. I recommend downsizing. It should be in a 6” wide pot if it came in a 4” pot. Only add 2 inches when upsizing. Reduce the watering rate. I let my three dry out before watering. Give it more light and monthly fertilizer. The new leaves should be shiny and larger. My three are still in original 6 inch pots with excessive amounts of perlite. They are dramatic and have died to bare dirt three times already. But, they revive almost immediately like a purple oxalis. 😂 I moved them next to the outdoor faucet where they got morning sun and water because they were driving me crazy. Two bloomed in late fall.

Oh my yes the pot I have it in is big (13 inch) which has worked for 9 months. Will downsize. What size is your pot?

They are in the original 6 inch pots. I rarely repot to a larger size unless it needs it due to overgrown roots, improper soil or I want bigger growth. I bought them in July and they bloomed in November.
