I left for 7 days and came back to my bamboo looking like this. I know it’s because of lack of water but does anyone know how i can help fix it?

Check me on this but a pinch of sugar may do the trick
0 J'aimeIve never heard of that but ill try it
0 J'aimeI hadn’t either until this past week at work. I’m a social worker and did not realize how many of us at work love and require them around us. Anyway, two of our plant doctors told me to do this with one of mine and within 30 min the difference was noticeable. Also she said the water was too acidic. I hope it helps
1 j'aimeOhhh thats good to know
0 J'aimeJust water it and trim off the brown bits. That's all you can do since the cause was dehydration.
3 J'aimeOkay Thank youu
0 J'aimehaha my bamboo looks exactly like this right now. any luck with the sugar method?
1 j'aimeI havent tried it yet but ill let you know when i do
0 J'aimeI personally wouldn't use sugar. In any media, water or soil or pon It can increase bad bacteria growth as well as mess with the plants water uptake. The theory is that it will give the plant energy, and that's just not the case. You'd be better just offering a diluted fertilizer that won't cause bacteria growth, attract bugs, or cause kill the plant if it harms it's natural guttation and transpiration
2 J'aimeThank you for your help
0 J'aimeIn the sugar method. I should have stated that it should only be done truly if growing in water.
