Hi, so I’m not sure what’s going on with my sunflowers. They are Velvet Queens. This is my first outdoor garden and I’m not sure what’s wrong or what’s going on with the leaves. Can anyone maybe identify what these little holes are and if they are harmful to my garden and how to maybe fix? TIA!

They might be a sign of pests which is very common, you’re not doing anything wrong. Mix some water, neem oil, and peppermint Castile soap, it’s a spray bottle and spray it on the leaves. This will clean the leaves and the bugs hate it!!! If you can’t get these things than maybe look for some pesticide.

I usually give them a good shower but I definitely have to give that a try! Do you maybe know what kind of pests? I’ve never seen so many holes lol

Thank you so much! This does give me some room to figure out what kind of pests and if they are gonna eat my whole garden. They are close to some of my peppers and tomato plant so I wonder if maybe they passed a pest to them :/
