   I don’t know what kind or if different cacti do different things but I talked to a lady at Steins and she said cactus naturally form fuzz. I’m not an expert and didn’t research this but she seemed VERY knowledgeable,. It looked like webbing covering the whole cactus tho.

     I do have a powder puff cactus (I’m assuming thats the kind of fuzz you’re talking about) and its not really the same. on the cactus I posted about it was just little balls of fluff (sadly mealy bug egg sacks) and I posted another picture of two adult mealy bugs on the cactus so that kind of solidified it. here is what the powder puff cactus looks like :D

   Ohhh ok got you! Yes that’s what it looked like. I am a new owner! I just repotted these so they could be together. I haven’t heard of mealy worms tho. How do mine look? I have had them for a couple months. They were in nursery pots when I got them but then the roots were outgrowing.

   No worries! this app is really just about learning and the community is so great to do so! The repot looks great! I cant quite tell if they could have mealy bugs(* my bad idk if I said worms or not) but heres some pictures to help you look out for them! This is honestly my first time having a cactus with mealy bugs so I’m kinda new to it too. I usually see them on flowers in the little crevices. Theyre really tiny and if you scroll up a bit, I commented another picture of what they looked like on my cactus.
