My prayer plant a few days ago just lost a bottom leaf just like this one. I’m just not sure whether it’s root rot or just the plant shedding the old leaves. Advice?

soil looks dry — could it be under watered? these don’t like to dry out fully
0 Me gustaThe top is dry but I just watered it a day or two ago
0 Me gustaCan I ask for your care that you’re doing? Type of water, humidity, etc.
0 Me gustaI water it about 1-2 times a week and the humidity I admit in my house is not great I’m running a humidifier trying to get it up. I just fertilized about a week ago. Gets pretty good light since I have grow lights.
0 Me gustaHmm… For these guys Water when soil is around 25% dry- the amount of time in between watering depends on your area cuz for me it’s like once every week ish but for other ppl could be every 3-4 days Marantas also are a bit picky with water, they like filtered water / rain water / distilled water -> not tap water. Because the waters too hard (that will cause crisping up on the edges of the plant leaves) Humidity wise if you don’t have a humidifier a pebble tray could help, but they do like higher humidity I have mine in medium-> bright light They are also huge drama queens with any kind of change. Most times for bottom leaves dropping it will be due to age You can check for root rot by gently popping it out of the pot and looking at the roots or - and this might seem weird - giving it a sniff. If it smells sorta sulfur esk / in general badddd smell you could have rot I do hope any of this helps 😭
2 Me gustaOmg thank you so much this is great
