Hey guys my birds nest fern is curling down and the tips are turning yellow. I keep it in the bathroom window, water it once a week but I never mist it since the bathroom is a humid place. Does anyone know what could be wrong with my plant?

Not sure but I have learned the hard way not to get the center wet. I also started using Silica Gold to help with cell structure. I have one that is doing great and one that is barely hanging in there. Good luck. Planta has me watering mine more than once a week. 🪴

I agree with Buffy. I only water around the plant’s center to not disturb the very fragile fronds. This plant does like good light, I have mine by an east facing window and now it gets really good morning sun. It did struggle when I first got it during the winter so the leaves were getting crisp brown tips, but it has since adapted especially now with the warm or more humid days. Do you have it in an airy potting mix with good drainage at the bottom of the pot?

Also, I only use filtered water when watering (every ~5 days) as this plant is sensitive to hard water minerals
