Hi y’all. This is my first ficus tree and I noticed this greenish tinge at the base. Got this not even a week ago. Is this normal? I plan on repotting this weekend.

Wolfen 🐺Looks like algae growth. Fairly normal, but can also indicate it staying wet for long periods.

Do you think I should cut back on watering? I’ve been following plants schedule.

If the top few inches aren't dry, when you go to water, I would snooze it a few days. If they are, it should be fine
