I use planta reminders to water it and I have a moist meter thing that tells me if the soil is dry.

Okay thank you so muchāŗļø, I was even planning on getting more succulents but seeing my second plant like this Iāve restrained myself to get my plant better before I make a purchase.āØ
1 LikeItās trial and error learning about plant care. Each variety is different and they are moving to your home environment which is always different from a nursery. There are a few things to do that can increase the chances of success with succulents: 1) Add a grow light and put it 1 foot or closer to the succulents. They need 10 hours of bright light to thrive indoors. Most grow lights come with a timer. 2) Use a potting mix specifically designed for succulents. Standard potting mix holds water too long. Wet feet can quickly kill succulents. 3) Let the soil completely dry out before watering. Do not follow a strict schedule. Always check the soil for wetness with a meat skewer, chopstick or similar tool. 3) Ensure the plant gets good air circulation to help dry the soil. Good luckššŖ“
2 LikesI canāt tell by the picture, but, I think the plant is too low in the pot, that pot is too low in the orange pot which may be slowing the evaporation of water in the soil due to poor air circulation. Plants shouldnāt be below the rim of the inner or outer pots. I recommend removing the outer pot. Itās a bit too tall. Also, raise the plant in the inner pot so that the soil is almost at the rim of the inner pot.
