Still unable to stop whatever ailment is causing this. The problem is accelerating and these leaves will all die. Does anyone have any idea what’s causing this?

It could be thrips, overwatering if it’s in too big of a pot or sun damage. When you wet the moss pole, do you let it run into the soil or just mist it? You could either switch to a chunkier mix that will drain quickly so frequently watering the moss pole doesn’t overwater the soil, or use a pole that covers most of the moss so it doesn’t dry out as much. Ive seen some people even just saran wrap the pole and cut holes on the plant side as an alternative to hollow plastic poles that you stuff the moss into. Doesn’t look too pretty though 🤣

There are no pests. The roots are healthy. The moss pole doesn’t drain into the soil I mist the pole daily but it also tends to dry significantly between mistings. I water very sparingly. My soil is already composed of potting soil, worm castings, and perlite in about 45/10/45 ratio. Plenty of drainage. I also switched to a terra cotta from a ceramic to help with any standing water issues. I aerate the soil every month with one of my bamboo pokers to eliminate compaction. I’ve tried Saran Wrap too, doesn’t work as well as it might seem. Moss poles are too much work fwiw, thinking I might have to get a giant, shallow pot and let the adonasii just do ground growth…

Don't know if this works for monstera, but I use metal trellises for my climbing plants. I looked into moss pole care and there's no way I could reliably keep up with one.

But still, after four months no definitive answers on what could be causing this.

Take pictures or the whole plant to your local plant shop or nursery, maybe they can help you diagnosis the issue? Have you tried watering more frequently? About how many days do you go in between watering, and when you do water do you pour until water runs out the bottom?

Not sure what the root system size is but the pot is maybe a bit big? My adansonai grows like heck in a fairly tight plastic pot (clear, so I can see both the root system and the moisture). It loves slightly more water than I would expect, and absolutely loves a mist every 2-3 days - more than any of my other aroids of similar types.

Are you sure about the pests? Because last pic looks like a few thrips on the leaf.

100% sure. It’s little pieces of sphagnum moss that is kicked up when I spray down the moss pole. I also have neem oil and sprayed all of my plants throughly just a week ago as well. Not thrips, no pests.
