hey guys! so I’ve had this succulent (pictured below — not sure of the exact type) for two or so months now, and she’s been super happy. I left home last Sunday, having watered her that day and left her in a well-lit room, and came back this afternoon (following Saturday) to find her like this. one of the leaves fell right off when i gently touched it. i’m so confused as to what’s gone wrong — any ideas, and anything about how I fix it? i have a cat but he couldn’t have gotten into the room, there are some plants nearby (a foot or so away?) but all of them are completely healthy. i recently haven’t had any kind of ceramic tray to place under her like i usually would so she’s been on paper towel — could that be an issue? as you can probably tell, I’m just very confused and desperate for any advice anyone can give. please let me know if you have any idea what’s going on, or if you have specific questions that might help to narrow it down!! thank you so much!! pictures attached of the plant afterwards, I couldn’t find a photo of how it looked previously, but the leaves were a brighter green and much fuller. I also just noticed some small black flies gathering around the pot.

    Sorry to tell you but it’s too late for saving. The roots are rotting from being overwatered.

    It’s an echeveria. They require sun or very bright grow lights and usually go weeks without being watered.
