I finally found the reason for my plant dying and yellowing all over. Root rot đŸ˜”â€đŸ’« I’ve never had root rot before. I cut all of the stringy, mushy stuff off but wondering if I got it all? Some of the tips of the nodes were brown/black but idk if that’s soil or rot. Are the leaves that have already started yellowing, done for? Or do they have a chance? If you notice any rot In the pictures that I need to remove please let me know! I don’t really know what to look for other than the mush

you’ve got a ton of viable nodes here — there is plenty of hope!

I’m just scared to miss any root rot and kill it completely 😭 I’ve already lost quite a bit of it because the leaves started rapidly dying and yellowing. It was in a hanging basket and was growing out so long, ughh I’m sad about it haha

If you want to help ease your mind, you can soak the cuttings in a hydrogen peroxide and water mix to kill any of the root rot bacteria before you start propagating these cuttings

Yep! Just do it for about 10-20 minutes or so, that worked for my pearls and jade pothos that had root rot and I had to do some props
