Hey guys, wondering if any of you can tell me if these pots are too big for my birds of paradise?? I’m concerned i repotted them too quickly as they didn’t have a root ball when I did and they really haven’t grown at all since repotting 😥

    Hi, when I repotted my bop I noticed the same thing - I think the plants just focusing on growing its roots for a while before it puts out new leaves, took a while but now my bop won’t stop growing new leaves

    Depending on when you planted them and where you live. Remember that plants reduce their growth during winter so this could be the reason :) mine completely stopped growing the new leaf back in December and just recently resumed.

    Thank you both for the replies! I live in Texas about an hour south of Houston so we’re not in Winter any longer, and hearing it may be focusing on root makes me feel a bit better. I may consider repotting to smaller pots of I don’t see these girls healthy anymore. Thank you both again!
