Can someone tell me why the base of my monstera is turning yellow? I'm watering her right now and i haven't been using the humidifier as much lately, could that be the issue? She's growing so well and I don't want her to die. Any tips?

It appears the older leaves are dying which is completely normal. Has the plant had a lot of new growth in recent months?
3 Me gustaYes tons of new growth but if the base is dying what does that mean? How will the plant stand?
0 Me gustaI don’t think the base is dying. You can always repot it and check the roots. Like another comment said, plants that are root bound sometimes drop leaves as a sign of stress
2 Me gustaHave you checked to see if she needs a repot? You may need to get a moss pole or trellis soon
0 Me gustaNo I haven’t. I repotted it earlier this year. I’ll see if it needs another repot
0 Me gustasince it seems isolated to all those low leaves i’m betting they’re just dying off since they’re not able to compete with all the new growth for light. the rest of the plant and main stems look healthy.
3 Me gustaYa it is just like pothos where any leaves blocked from light will die due to not getting enough light to maintain themselves. So don’t worry your plant will not die.
2 Me gustaLooks like older leaves! Don’t worry it’s fill out from the top and the Ariel roots at the bottom will secure the plant!
