Can anyone help figure out why my Asparagus Fern is dying? Full sun, repotted recently with an orchid mix, watered usually every 1.5 weeks. Planta says to water around every 3 days, though I feel like that's to much as the dirt is still damp by the time it says to water again.

Does the pot have holes in the bottom?

Yes, the fern is kept under a slightly smaller plastic pot with a layer of tissue paper at the bottom to catch water

pot is too big :-( too big and you'r watering WAY too often. there's a snooze button on your tasks in planta, and it will adjust the schedule accordingly.

The problem is likely overwatering, caused by the combination of an inappropriate soil mix and a watering schedule that is too frequent for the plant's needs.ExplanationThe Asparagus Fern is likely dying due to overwatering. Overwatering occurs when a plant receives too much water, preventing its roots from getting enough oxygen. This can lead to root rot and plant death.
