my chinese money plant is recovering from being overwatered, her last brown leaf just fell off. all the leaves look healthy but the baby leaves at the bottom are starting to look like they need to be watered, but i’m scared to water again and undo the process of drying her out. thoughts? it’s been probably a month since i watered and repotted her about 2-3 weeks ago.

From what I learned about money Plants is they store moisture in the trunks so don’t be afraid to wait until the soil is completely dry to water them I might be wrong but this was told to me from several money tree owners 🤷🏻‍♂️

My money tree is getting better because of this rule I guess I was overwatering unintentionally

Also pot size makes a huge difference as well you don’t want a bigger pot than your plant needs cause the soil holds moisture so if you water with a lot of soil to your small plant it can drown or root rot (I’m a beginner just sharing what I learned)

Once she’s mostly dry, definitely give her a good watering. They don’t like to get super dry (like going days being fully dry). I water mine when it’s about 75% dry. 🌿
