Usually when leaves start turning bright yellow like that, it’s a watering issue. Yellow leaves due to underwatering will also have dry soil, drooping leaves, curling leaves, leaves that feel dry/thin/papery, and be a more pale yellow. Yellow leaves due to overwatering will also have soil that feels damp or wet to the touch, have no drooping/curling, be very bright yellow, will be leaves that feel softer/wetter to the touch, and have browning around the edges or leaf tips.
