What is happening to my fiddle leaf fig? This is the only leaf like this so far 🥺

    i'm not completely sure, but it might be powdery mildew. if it is, all i know is that it can happen because of poor airflow and if you mist your plants. hope it improves!

    I used your picture and looked up the problem in a couple of my plant apps and both say that it is possibly overwatering.

    It looks like sunburn or powdery mildew as mentioned already. Check for white powdery dust which indicates mildew. The fix is using a commercial fungicide to stop the mildew growth. I would cut this and be careful to not spread it to other plants by cleaning tools and hands. My guess would be sunburn which has dark patches that turn white, red, darker or yellow. This leaf is turning black then white like the example of sunburn in the photo. The fix is to cut it off. It won’t recover. 🪴🍀
