noticed a huge crack in one of my snake plants leaves, is there anything i can do for it to avoid any future decay or weakness?

I find, if they’re healthy, they’ll heal themselves just fine. I do have to mention, it looks like your pot is way too big for this guy. These like tight spaces and to dry out quickly. I wouldn’t go large then 1” bigger than the root ball for a pot size. They hold a lot of moisture in their leaves and don’t do well if the soil stays wet too long. This potentially could be a cause of the crack. But I can’t see the whole pot so I could be wrong! :)
3 J'aimeNo, if it’s mechanical damage they usually handle it pretty well. And if your seeing signs of it healing then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. I definitely would be getting it in a pot with drainage, and it looks a bit too bit (not as large as I thought!). I would downsize though. You can always get a smaller nursery pot and then just put it inside your decorative pot so it looks pretty.
