What is this webbed ball, fuzzy kind of thing attached to my plant? Near new leaf. Plant is Siam Aurora. New to plants.. please help!

    No, just that tight webbed ball. I did see couple of gnats in soil. Overall the plant looks healthy.

    If there is any broken stems on a plant typically what you should do is just let it grow off and sometimes a new stem will come up and I recommend just basically leaving it alone but if it starts browning, you could cut it off
