All About Plants

Hello all. This is the second time i post this, but I really need your help to save my Multi-trunk Rebellini Palm Tree. All advices are welcome. My palm tree is dying and I don’t know if is overwatering or under watering. I think is the second, because she is bending her fronds leaves of the trunk still alive inside under and the fronds are turning yellow and brown, so are the tips. Also, her two side trunks lost all of their fronds leaving only a hole in the middle. Before fronds falling off they turned brown and dry. Because of my findings, I keep watering the palm and also added fertilizer with no results. I, too, added coffee and egg shells around the trunk, because I heard it’s good for fertilizer, but I see no change. I tried everything I was told, including peroxide water in the hole with no results. I have uploaded pictures to show from when the issue started until current. Hope it helps determining the problem. Please help. I thank you in advance.

I’d prune back all the dead leaves. Maybe have an arborist come out? Not sure if you’re in Arizona but our weather here has been nuts the last 10 days so.

Im in California. Weather been crazy here, too, one day may be cool and the next very hard. I just don’t know if I’m overwatering or under-watering.

Yah for sure and it’s the time of year to do it. There might be some pest issues under all the dead stuff! Keep us posted and good luck!

It could be due to where it is. If it’s getting burnt by the sun and not enough water, it may look droopy and scorched. Same thing if it’s too cold outside, a freeze could also hurt it.

It’s been in the same location for about 18 years and never done that. It was always very healthy until now

But you may be right, not enough water. My brother closed the sprinkler on that side because she is the only plant still left in the ground and I been watering by hand
