HELP! Some of the leaves on mu aloe Vera are browning and shriveling up. It also looks like on those leaves, it looks folded a little. Any way to prevent this from happening or cure it? (I’ve pruned some of the bigger brown spots
My guess would be too much water. I had this happen and it was a combo of the wrong medium and overwatering. (The medium wasn’t a light enough/well draining cactus mix, even in a clay pot.) If that resonates, my first move would be repotting in a mix that doesn’t hold water. I’d pull the leaves off too if they continue to shrivel - you’ll get new ones soon enough.
2 J'aimeI looked at the photos of it showing the growth progression. The leaves were green, plump and most leaves flat at the base. The current leaves are pale, thin and tightly curling. Aloe leaves flatten and curl when they dehydrate too much. The paleness is from sun stress.
