I have a few different syngoniums but I recently got this variegated one. It’s super sad and keeps dropping leaves and I’m not sure why. Am I overwatering it? Does it need more sun? Or does it need something since it’s variegated? The roots look great, no pests, and I used a special mix for soil so I’m not worried about that. The leaves turn yellow and drop off. Pic on the left is when I first repotted it and right one is today

are the leaves crisping? it probably needs more humidity. in my experience, variegated plants are especially vulnerable when there's low humidity. they don't like it when the air is dry.

Yeah, it is crispy. I’ll try putting it next to my humidifier. Thanks!

Some questions I’d ask in order to diagnose properly: How much do you let the potting mix dry out in between waterings? What kind of light does it currently receive?

It’s in an east facing window currently and I don’t let it get bone dry but not moist.
