My large pony tail palm keeps getting dark brown leaves. I have tried trimming but they just come right back. I am watering according to schedule and making sure not too wet when time to water. He is right by the window with a sheer curtain in between. I moved away from the window at one point but still did the same thing. Any advice?

It’s overwatered and the pot may be too big. These palms hold water in their wide trunks. It’s better to let the soil dry out before watering again. Do not water using a schedule including the Planta schedule. Verify the soil is dry before watering. Use a well draining soil with lots of perlite.

Make sure the soil is super chunky and well draining as well. The plant should be DRY before watering, NOT ‘not too wet’
