BB.

My Janet Craig is fairly new (about 3 weeks old) and it just seems to be getting worse. I have watered it 3 times (about once a week) and keep it relatively near a window (8-10 feet away). It said it wasn’t too dependent on light but here I am. Any recommendations on how to help it become more lively? Thank you.

It still needs brighter light. They can tolerate low light. But, 10 feet from a residential window is too far. Try adding a grow light or move it to a window with sheer curtains as a filter. (North windows are too dark.) Grow lights are LED which uses less electricity. Run grow lights on the 12 hour timer that comes with most lights. 🪴🍀

More light for sure and they do not tolerate most tap water. They are sensitive to certain minerals. Use RO water or distilled, or you can try filtered water. Bottled spring water is a no go because it has minerals in it.
