I’ve had this snake plant for over a year, but recently it’s had some issues. I pulled out a dried-out part of the plant and repotted the rest, but now one of the leaves is yellowed and mushy. What’s going on?

It could honestly be root shock from repotting. Yellowing and mush tends to be from overwatering- but you said ykuve had it for over a year so id assume you know how to love it lol. So maybe nust root shock and the roots could’ve died/rotted. Happened to me- i just checked if it had any roots by gently tugging on it and it came right out so i put it back and left it and ignored it hoping foe the best (checked on it literally every day. But it was fine eventually. But idk good luck 🫡🫡

Ok then yea sounds like root shock from repotting- Which is fine it happens just remove the dead leaves give it a spray with hydrogen peroxide and water mix and put it back and just leave it (thats what I did and it worked lol idk if its the scientific way but yea) lol Good luck 🫡

Also its possible you maybe repotted into a container too large which also causes rot even jf youre watering properly and have good drainage.
3 LikesI completely agree with this. 👆Snake plants like snug pots that allow the roots to dry out faster than a large pot of damp soil. Repot to a small pot just wide enough to hold the plants close together.
