Hi there! My bamboo’s leaves are becoming crispy dry and they’re folding inwards 😞 it happened before and I just trimmed the dry leaves, but it came back now and I’m wandering if any of you know what to do to help it? 🥲

Check the roots for root bound or excessive dryness. It’s probably low humidity if the roots look fine.

It shouldn’t be dry as the top layer is always wet 🤔 it likes being watered I’ll see it it’s root bound, maybe it’s the cause. Or maybe I can use my humidifier more often 🤔

It’s called Red Bamboo Ginger (Alpinia Luteocarpa) 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I guess it’s even closer to ginger than bamboo
