The pot is most likely way too big. Make sure it’s only 1-2 inches bigger than the rootball. Also make sure it’s a chunky soil mix. You might need to put it back into water and get a bigger stronger root system.

Thank you! I’ll put it back into the water. And get him a smaller pot later… for how long should I put it in the water?

I wait until the soil is like 75% dry. Sometimes more dry or less dry depending on the weather and what I think the plant needs. I check with a chop stick to match sure I’m not over or under watering.

Does that pot have drainage holes?

Yes, this planter has drainage holes and I put also the stones at the bottom

Stones on the bottom can lead to toxic water that the plant can grow into just a heads up!

My snake plants thrive in well draining soil, it that pot has attached saucer, it may not like it because it’ll sit in too much moisture. I trim browning regularly. I water when it’s about 25-50% dry. Don’t use rocks, use a well draining soil. Mine love a mixture of perlite, potting soil and orchid bark (mix and measure with my heart 🤣) It likes light but not direct or too hot (I live in the desert). I can dang near be neglectful and they keep going. I think pot and soil *appear* to be your culprit but I’m absolutely not an expert…I am winging the plant thing šŸ˜…

These guys have thick tubular roots which hold a lot of water, so you only need to water when the soil is completely dry
