This bromeliad of mine has been having issues. I repotted it about a week ago into a pot with drainage and recently rinsed the central cup with a mix of water and hydrogen peroxide as I saw some white fuzzy things in there. However, the pups are looking more and more dehydrated with not so nice tips on them. Is this plant dead? I just replaced water in the central cup and noticed more white fuzzy things in there, too.

    White fuzzy things as in mold or as in mealybugs? I never thought I’d say this, but I hope it’s mold 😭 Based off the soft look to the brown/yellow spots I’d say this is any of the following: stem or root rot, insufficient lighting or overwatering. Or a combination of it. Root rot has a misconception about being from too much water but it’s really a lack of oxygen. For epiphytes, it’s sort of also the literal pressure/weight of water and soil if they are in too big of a pot since they’re used to having their roots mostly exposed and for anchorage. (totally irrelevant in terms of advice)
