Help! First time posting here and also first time seeing this happen to my plants. All my plant types have seemingly gotten sick with a fungus? Maybe? I’m curious if yall have seen anything like this before, and how you managed to treat it (currently I’m soaking the roots in Hydrogen peroxide mixture, spraying the leaves with Dr. earth fungicide, and repotting them after I have rinsed and washed their pots)?? Anything else I need to be doing? Also how do I prevent something like this happening again? It feels like a full blown infestation. I have so many plants now that I started watering them outside. Is that where they could pick up fungal spores and thus spiral into infecting every plant?

Oh noooo!!! I have 2 plants that have that on them and i can't figure out what it is. I've heard it can be a watering issue as wel as a fungus issue. But i think your doing the right thing with the hydrogen peroxide. I don't know what else to do sorry. Hopefully someone can figure it out for us..

Hmmmm if it’s multiple plants affected like that I would definitely check the undersides of the leaves for any thrips. Hoping for you it’s not that though!

I’ll check it out more closely. Wouldn’t thrips be associated with little black dots though?

Thrip damage can definitely look like this where the leaves turn brown. You should be able to see teeny tiny bugs on the undersides of the leaves if you have them. But then some of the leaves look more like either cold or heat damage so it’s hard to say..

Yea I don’t know? I never had problems until I started this watering outside and bring them back inside routine. I still follow the same watering schedule I can’t imagine their demands have changed that much?

Hmmm it’s tricky.. where abouts in the world are you? Has it been cold when you take the plants outside to water? I think you might have to inspect the roots on all of them to rule out a watering issue or rot. With the arrowhead plant I would say it definitely looks like there could be some rot, but in my experience these bounce back fairly well. But then with the monstera it almost looks like cold damage or a burn?

Yea if it’s super sunny outside during watering could definitely be a burn. Are you getting leaves wet when watering now? Makes sunburn easier. What time of day and temp is sit when you water? Using a hose instead of watering can? Maybe you’re giving a lot more water than normal and not noticing?
